It’s been a while, but the AGA Lady has definitely been busy!! Emmie’s daughter was also busy and her and her husband have another beautiful son, so Ouma is baie besig!! We now have our own parts cast and a batch of solid lids arrived a day ago in very rough state. They have to be painted so they have to be finished to perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have ever tried to sand a rough cast, straight from the foundry, down to a totally smooth finish, then there is a lot to learn!! So far I have nearly finished the worst cast of them all. Can’t wait for the finished item.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday we leave on a humungus trip from Camperdown to Port Elizabeth with a four oven AGA in tow. We will stop in Bloemfontein on Saturday night, and then take a detour to Adelaide, where another stove awaits our attention. Then it’s on to Port Elizabeth to install our passenger!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Then we head to Worcester and Ceres for another two stoves…..and then the looong haul back home.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
